Grace has 9+ years of experience with graphic design, photography, cinematography, and video editing. After receiving a B.A. in Mass Communication with a focus on Media Studies, she went on to pursue an M.A. at George Washington University for Documentary Filmmaking. Obsessed with great storytelling and all things related to visual learning, Grace loves being creative and tailoring content for a variety of communication channels.

Working for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) from 2014-2019, Grace deployed to natural disasters to capture photo/video footage and provide live media coverage of the federal government's emergency response and recovery operations. She also wrote and implemented the agency's first Audio/Visual Production Guide, completely redesigned 2,000+ internal webpages, and developed project management standards for organizing assets in the agency's multimedia library after categorizing the metadata for over 813,000 assets. While deployed, Grace also managed teams of 5-7 photo/videographers, which included brainstorming and delegating their assignments, providing editorial feedback, maintaining the upkeep of gear and software, and providing training opportunities.

From 2019-2022 Grace switched gears and entered the non-profit world as a Video Producer/Editor for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animas (PETA). During this time she pitched original ideas for compelling short and long-form social media content and managed all video production requirements including research/development, budget, storyboards, scripting, casting, location, transportation, grip/electric, shooting, and editing. Her attention-grabbing, engaging, and ground-breaking content prompted audiences to take action and within her first year at PETA, she increased impressions by 49.7% (Instagram), 113% (Facebook), and 123% (TikTok).

In tandem with her 9-5 work, Grace also works as a freelance photographer, cinematographer, and video editor, working on projects ranging from documentary films to social media marketing to commercial productions. Often a one-stop shop, Grace manages, schedules, and organizes photo/video shoots, including booking talent, coordinating interviews, developing shot lists, selecting locations, and collaborating with creative teams to produce final products to be aired on the web, TV, or social media platforms.
