Salim Nanji

Salim Nanji is an enterprise technology and data transformation leader with systems architecture roots. He helps organizations turn fragmented data and systems into governed capabilities that leaders can actually make decisions on.
Salim spent the first half of his career designing and scaling enterprise analytics platforms across IBM Cognos, OBIEE, SAP BusinessObjects, Tableau, and Power BI. At BAE Systems, he grew a reporting environment from five servers to more than 50, supporting 17,000 users across two business units within a broader 30,000-user enterprise, while consolidating seven competing data models into a single source of truth without disrupting operations.
He later moved into leadership, advising senior executives across federal, defense, and commercial organizations on data strategy, cloud modernization, systems integration, application rationalization, and M&A integration. At BAE Systems and VSE Corporation, Salim led teams of up to 25, managed IT budgets up to $3.5 million, and oversaw portfolios spanning ERP, financial platforms, enterprise analytics, and business-critical applications. His approach connects architecture, governance, security, and execution so transformation creates measurable value rather than additional complexity.
Most recently, Salim served as Team Lead for Reporting and Analytics at RELI Group, supporting intelligence and vetting programs at the Transportation Security Administration. He led the division's reporting modernization from on-premises Power BI Report Server to the cloud, establishing the foundation for scalable, AI-enabled analytics while using AI-assisted development to automate and standardize service delivery.
His operating philosophy is straightforward: simplify complexity, protect data integrity, and deliver capabilities people can trust and act on.
