Tanja Powers is an executive coach, consultant, and nonprofit leader based in the Bay Area. She brings over 30 years of experience in the biotech
and pharma industries, having held senior roles spanning sales, marketing, account management, and product launches. This deep-seated corporate
background gives her a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities leaders face, especially when navigating complex, high-stakes
environments.
As a certified coach with ACC accreditation and a coaching certificate from the Hudson Institute, Tanja’s approach is influenced by a comprehensive
philosophy focused on the client's whole life. She helps leaders explore not just their professional goals, but their purpose, values, and vision for the future.
Her coaching is grounded in the belief that personal and professional growth are intertwined, and that true leadership comes from a place of self-awareness
and intentionality.
Tanja's experience includes leading blockbuster product launches, managing P&L responsibilities, and guiding teams through significant transitions. She
creates space for deep thinking and dialogue, believing that the best coaches are a combination of a cheerleader and a fierce older sibling— always
leading from behind while challenging clients to step up with confidence.
Beyond her coaching work, Tanja is committed to continual learning and supporting her community. She is a member of SV2, an advisory board
member of Facing History and Ourselves, and a part-time philanthropic lead at Cristo Rey High School in Oakland. Her client list includes leaders and teams across the
