Bego Lozano

Bego is an executive coach, instructor, interculturalist, and business leader with 25 years of experience living and working in four countries and ten cities. She has experience in corporate settings, start-ups, and venture capital. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. 

 

She has worked with a wide range of clients to scale their leadership during rapidly changing and complex circumstances. She understands the cultural challenges inherent in global business, both personally and professionally. She has worked with individuals and teams on building cultural awareness and integrating different norms and perspectives into the work environment. She has learned to adapt and flourish, living and working in different countries during her professional career. Bego is a regular mindfulness practitioner and teaches her clients how to utilize tools to manage stress, increase focus, and execute more effectively. 

 

Bego has personally worked in marketing and corporate communications in the consumer products, telecom, nonprofits, consulting, and tech industries. She is also a partner in a venture capital firm. She has coached individuals and teams in various sectors, including technology, startups, healthcare, education, automotive, consumer and packaged goods, professional services, media companies, and nonprofits. 

 

Bego holds a BA in Business Administration and completed postgraduate work in Corporate Social Responsibility. Bego received her coach training through New Ventures West and holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a certified Leadership Circle Profile® practitioner which includes a 360 assessment and culture assessment. She is a faculty member at New Ventures West since 2020. Bego is a Senior Facilitator for Personal Leadership Seminars® since 2017, a Facilitator for Coaching Circles® since 2021, and a Behavioral Analyst for Talent DISC since 2022. Her experience in intercultural management led her to become a member of SIETAR (Society of Intercultural Education, Training and Research) since 2011, and she has presented at the annual conferences. She is a founding member of the Latina Giving Circle, part of the Latino Community Foundation. 

 

After traveling and living in many wonderful places, Bego and her husband have settled in Washington, DC. You can find her exploring museums, eating at fun places with friends, running, or watching the latest episode of the Great British Baking Show.
